Jose Carmona is a widely known and acclaimed dancer from Spain whose work & artistry has earned him the unparalleled respect of the artistic and musical community worldwide.
Jose was the Principal from the Spanish National Ballet directed byMaria Avila.
He launched his professional career at "Escuela de Ballet Nacional" (National School of Ballet) and has completed intensive training at numerous prestigious institutes in Spain such as: ‘Real Conservatorio de Arte Dramático de Madrid’ (Real Conservatory of Dramatic Arts of Madrid), Conservatorio de Danza de Alicante (Conservatory of Dance of Alicante) as well American Ballet from New York, amongst others.

In 1996, he founded his own dance company (Compania de Danza Jose Carmona) which has been notably successful around Spain & the rest of the world, touring countless countries & staging numerous productions. He subsequently opened his own dance school (PASOS) in Spain, in 1999.

Along the years, he has toured many countries such as Russia, Holland & Mexico and has worked with ’Ballet de Antología de la Zarzuela de Madrid’, ‘Ballet Español de Juan Príncipe’, ‘Gran Palace de Lloret de Mar’, ‘Galas de Salou’ as well as many of Spain’s greatest flamenco artists. |
